The CATCHPLAY+ platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) provides a built-in chatroom function (hereinafter referred to as the “Chatroom”), which is governed by the CATCHPLAY+ Community Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”). By using the services of the Platform and the Chatroom, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Guidelines. If you do not agree with the contents of the Guidelines, please do not use the Chatroom-related services.


CATCHPLAY+ may update the Guidelines at any time. Such amendments will take effect immediately upon announcement, without further notice. Please check for updates to the Guidelines before using the Chatroom. Continued use of the Platform or related services after amendments signifies your agreement to comply with the revised contents.


A. Use of User Data


To facilitate user matching within the Chatroom, the following user personal data will be used:


  1. User profile picture
  2. User nickname
  3. Other personal data and usage behavior already authorized to CATCHPLAY+, including but not limited to the data you have authorized under the Privacy Policy when registering your CATCHPLAY+ account or using related services


The above data is obtained when you register for a CATCHPLAY+ account. CATCHPLAY+ will not collect or request any additional unauthorized data for the Chatroom function.


B. User Rules of Conduct


  1. When using the Chatroom, you must comply with applicable laws and ethical standards. All use of CATCHPLAY+, the Chatroom, and related functions must conform to all laws and regulations applicable to you.
  2. You agree not to use the Chatroom or related services to engage in any conduct that may harm the rights of CATCHPLAY+ or third parties.
  3. The Chatroom services are provided for individual personal use only and may not be used for profit-making or commercial purposes.
  4. You guarantee not to post or transmit inappropriate content to other users through the Chatroom, including but not limited to defamatory, abusive, obscene, profane, offensive to religion, discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, harassing, hateful, pornographic, violent, drug-related, commercial, illegal content, or any content that infringes the rights of third parties. CATCHPLAY+ reserves the right to remove inappropriate content. Users may report misconduct by others through the reporting mechanism.
  5. You may not use the Chatroom in any way to collect other users’ names, email addresses, or personal data for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
  6. You may not use the Chatroom to send spam, direct marketing, chain letters, or other commercial advertisements. Flooding, repeated messages, or excessive use of symbols or images are also prohibited.
  7. You may not use the Platform or related services to download or collect other users’ information to harass, stalk, or harm others.
  8. You may not impersonate another person.
  9. You may not explicitly or implicitly claim that we endorse any content you post on the Platform.
  10. You may not use any manual or automated methods, search software, or devices to scrape, collect, index, or mine Platform content or user data, nor reproduce or circumvent the normal browsing and display structure of the Platform or related services.
  11. You may not upload, transmit, or distribute software viruses or other malicious code, files, or programs.
  12. You may not modify, rewrite, translate, sell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of CATCHPLAY+ or the Chatroom content, technology, or software.
  13. To protect the quality of the Platform and related services, we reserve the right to suspend or restrict Chatroom usage or posting rights from specific network addresses at any time.
  14. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and address personal disputes between you and other users. Any such disputes are your sole responsibility.


If you do not agree to the prohibitions or requirements listed above, please do not enable or use the Chatroom function.If a violation is reported and verified, CATCHPLAY+ reserves the right to forcibly suspend the user’s access and usage rights.


C. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability


To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Chatroom and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any express or implied warranties of any kind. We do not warrant or guarantee that your use of the Platform, the Chatroom, or related services will achieve the results you expect. Subject to the foregoing general limitation of liability, under no circumstances shall we be legally responsible for any damages or indirect losses incurred by any user arising from, including but not limited to:


  1. Inability to access or use the Chatroom or other services provided by the Chatroom, for any reason.
  2. Errors or inaccuracies in any content or information posted in the Chatroom.
  3. The conduct of Chatroom users or account holders, whether online or offline.
  4. Any issues arising from communications between Chatroom users, including but not limited to:

    a. Operational or transmission errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, incompleteness, or delays;

    b. Unauthorized access;

    c. Theft, destruction, or unauthorized alteration of data.

  5. Any other problems or technical malfunctions related to the Chatroom or associated services.


In addition to the foregoing and any other limitations of liability set forth in these Guidelines, you understand and agree that under no circumstances shall we be held liable for any damages or indirect losses arising from your reliance on the Chatroom services, or on any content, messages, or information provided by other users.


D. Third-Party Content and Responsibility


Any opinions, advice, statements, offers, or other content or information provided to you by third-party users through the Chatroom services are solely the responsibility of such third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume any legal responsibility for the completeness, accuracy, availability, or reliability of such information. You acknowledge and agree that you bear all risks associated with your interactions or transactions with any third party. CATCHPLAY+ shall not be a party to, nor bear any responsibility for, such interactions or transactions.


E. System Interruptions and Failures


The Platform services may, from time to time, experience interruptions, delays, or failures, which may result in inconvenience, data loss, or errors. In the event of such circumstances, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to promptly restore the services. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, damages, or losses you may incur as a result of the foregoing, or due to any force majeure events or unforeseen circumstances.


F. Links and Downloads


The Chatroom or related services may provide links to third-party websites. The content of such websites is solely the responsibility of the respective operators and is not under our control. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or legality of any content provided by third-party websites. You are solely responsible for exercising your own judgment when browsing or downloading such content, and you bear all risks of any damage or loss resulting therefrom.


G. User Content and Responsibility


  1. In the event that any third party brings a claim against CATCHPLAY+ arising out of or related to content you post, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CATCHPLAY+ from and against all damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including, but not limited to, claims, litigation, investigations, or penalties).
  2. CATCHPLAY+ is an open platform. While CATCHPLAY+ manages user behavior and user content in accordance with these Terms of Service and other applicable rules, you acknowledge and understand that CATCHPLAY+ cannot fully prevent situations where you may encounter other users or third parties infringing your rights, or content that may be offensive, inappropriate, or objectionable. You agree that, under no circumstances, shall CATCHPLAY+ be responsible for any content, messages, or actions published, transmitted, or conducted publicly or privately by users, nor do we warrant the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any such content or messages. All damages arising from such content or conduct, including but not limited to transmission errors, omissions, or losses resulting therefrom, shall be solely borne by you. CATCHPLAY+ and its personnel shall bear no liability in such cases.
  3. Our services and all content on CATCHPLAY+ are provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. CATCHPLAY+ hereby disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. CATCHPLAY+ shall not be responsible or liable for any user content posted or transmitted through the services by you, other users, or third parties. You are solely responsible for any benefit or loss resulting from your use of the services.
  4. If you post defamatory, discriminatory, provocative, abusive, obscene, or offensive remarks, or personal attacks against other users, specific individuals, organizations, or groups, or if you publish hate speech directed at groups sharing common characteristics or attributes—including but not limited to race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity—you shall be solely responsible for any resulting legal consequences. CATCHPLAY+ shall bear no liability for such conduct.


In addition to the foregoing and any other limitations of liability contained in these Terms, you acknowledge and agree that under no circumstances shall we be held liable for any damages or indirect losses arising from your reliance on user-generated content (such as posts, images, comments, or messages) or any information transmitted to you by other users.
